ABC News' Jan Crawford Greenburg Reports: McCain's tough new "celebrity" ad campaign, designed to portray Obama as an empty suit who -- like Paris Hilton -- is devoid of substance, is the first part of a broader strategy that ultimately could have ramifications for McCain's VP selection. ... This pick would be someone who, like McCain, has taken the unpopular stands, made the hard calls and stood firm on principle.
A person who fills that bill, these advisers say, is Joe Lieberman.
Wow. Lieberman.
At least we know where he stands.unlike the RINO trial balloons that we’ve heard too much about...........
Oh please help us.
Joe Lieberman has already said no.
Worst news I’ve heard in days.
At first blush it sounds like an idea that's just strange enough to work out.
Although I really hate to think that of all the true, conservative Republicans in the nation we can't find one to run for VP.
We’ve heard these endless, sourceless speculations for two weeks now. I’m not buying there is a pick until August 29th (which happens to be both McCain’s b-day and the day after the DNC ends).
I’m sure ABC News would like for Lieberman to be McCain’s running mate.
You know my first htought is he’s trying to lose. Then i think well, no one wants to be associated with him because if he loses, they are on a losing ticket and their career is sorta done.
But then i think well...he’s really trying to lose this. But then again who would WANT to be his running mate. Your going to find yourself under a bus.
Nah he’s really trying to lose this.
See this is what i do.
McCain ought to consider that Chinese African American Latino senator from California...Wong Jamel Gonsalez.
But you doubt it’s Lieberman, right?
