Friends,
I seek the wisdom of TSN!
I just found out a young lady I know is getting a divorce, her marriage lasting a little over a year.
Well, seems that when the nuptials were happening I was part of a betting pool as to how long it would last (several guys in her family were in the pool). Well, it came out that not only did I bet on her marriage failing, but I won about $900.
So now she is mad at me. But to be fair, not only was I right, but I won.
Does this make me the bad guy she makes me out to be?
Slip her fifty bucks and tell her to be grateful it wasn’t a death pool. ;-)
Congrats
Ask her out and spend the $900 on her.
Her own family were in the betting pool on the demise of her marriage and they let her go through with it without raising an objection when the priest/pastor/rabbi said “Anyone object to the union of.... speak now..?”
They’re the putzes!
Maybe she’s mad because the prediction came true,,,,,she’s mad at herself for making a bad choice, she feels like a fool because everyone around her could see this was not a good match, she was blinded by whatever,,,,love,,,,the idea of love, who knows, but, I think she’s mad at herself and is misdirecting her anger.
No, not a bad guy, just a gambler! LOL! She might be mad because you didn’t tell her to marry this guy in the first place.
