I hope that somehow the NY, NJ, and Florida Jews who will support Obama read this article and see that Obama is nothing more then a false prophet.

You need to watch the campaign video on Youtube that goes with this story:

Pro-Obama video features Obama’s “note to G-d.”

I still haven’t seen any evidence that the Obama campaign provided the text of this note to any media outlet. Perhaps they did, but I still haven’t seen any evidence of it. Maariv’s belated “explanation” simply makes no sense, and just sounds like incoherent blubbering of excuses invented after the fact.

As for Obama, I would assume he’d be smart enough not to put anything controversial or inflammatory in a note he was going to stuff in the wall, regardless of what he actually believes. There was obviously a possibility that some random person would grab the note out of the wall, display it and read its contents aloud, and have it end up circulating via YouTube.

Bottom line, the contents of the note tell us nothing about what Obama believes, but the fact that Maariv would publish it, either after getting it on the sly from the Obama campaign or from a yeshiva student-turned-thief, tells us plenty about Maariv. Since so far the only source of the “this was an Obama campaign stunt” story is Maariv, I’m not buying the story. Maariv has said specifically: “Barack Obama’s note was approved for publication in the international media even before he put it in the Kotel, a short time after he wrote it at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem.” and “Obama submitted a copy of the note to media outlets when he left his hotel in Jerusalem.” Why is there deafening silence from these other “media outlets”? If they actually exist, and received the note from the Obama campaign staff with permission to publish it, as Maariv alleges, one would think they would take the opportunity to say, “Yes, we received the note and permission, but chose not to publish it because we felt it wasn’t appropriate”.
