It is a shame that there is no mention of her in the MSM. I hope that I will be proved wrong in the next few days, but I have seen an incredible American hero pass with *no* mention in the MSM.

WASP, WAVE, WAC, etc. What a great time that was for America, notwithstanding the hell of a war. One of the first jokes I ever heard was in the mid-1940’s, “Why do the WAVES dislike using the bathroom at the air corp station?” Because they don’t like having to use the WAC’s paper! Life was a bit simpler back then I think. God bless this great lady and the thousands of others like her who served so ably at a time when their services were vital to our very existence!
