I cannot understand why, when the energy issue and American opinion could not be more clear nor obvious, the Republican party sits quietly and keeps its collective opinion to itself. I know from a few articles posted here that some are working for their voters, but if I didn't come to Free Republic I'd never know. Does anyone have the number for Republican party headquarters? Please give them a wake up call. Their issue is ready for pick up.

the Minority Senate Leader has been on top of this...
and I understand that as of yesterday, Reid is willing to FINALLY vote on some energy amendments...unfortunately, Pelousy is still refusing to all any votes...yet.
But if she has ANY idea of keeping her job as Speaker;
she will change her mind too!
