Bush administration officials reassured Israel's defense minister this week that the United States has not abandoned all possibility of a military attack on Iran, despite widespread Israeli concern that Washington has begun softening its position toward Tehran.
In meetings Monday and Tuesday, administration officials told Defense Minister Ehud Barak that the option of attacking Iran over its nuclear program remains on the table, though U.S. officials are primarily seeking a diplomatic solution.

Iran is and has been responsible for killing many AMERICAN soldiers in Iraq. Iran has done so on purpose.
President Bush stated that you are either with us or against us. Still he continues to allow Iran to kill AMERICAN troops with impunity.
I have lost a whole lot of admiration for Mr. Bush over this issue.
We are the United States of America, and we allow some third world crap hole to kill our people and we do nothing?
NUKE IRAN til it glows in the dark.
....tick....tick....tick....tick....tick
Time to put this dog down.
... and one more time for good measure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Iranians have until this weekend to announce they’re suspending enrichment. They obviously aren’t going to stop. Ahmadinejad has plainly said so and even announced having more centrifuges online. We’ll see by this time next week if there’s anything to the rumors surrounding Operation Brimstone. That, allegedly, will stop the flow of refined petroleum products and its necessary components into Iran. If true, it would significantly raise the stakes in this faceoff.
If the Iranians can just make it to November, and if, just if obama wins, they are home-free.

This is a decision Israel will need to make on her own, the US though must be prepared for a strike on US interests by Iran.
That ought to give the moonbats some purpose to their feeble little lives!
I was just talking the exact points 5 minutes ago to friends.
I am pretty disgusted they kill our soldiers with impunity, and not a single bad day for Tehran.
But then again the illegals enjoy the same immunity preying upon American citizens through rape, DUI, murder, drug shootouts, kidnapping, etc..etc..etc...
It's just that, for the time being, that table has been moved to the attic...
But once we attack Iran all that previous diplomacy will go right out the window.
I believed in the war (if you can call it that w/o a constitutional declaration), but all this political correctness has cost the lives and limbs of thousands of our vets.
Sure, killing the bad guys is always a good thing, but going after the head of the snake would nip it off at the bud.
We should have bombed Syria and Iran years ago when it was learned that they were responsible for arming and training these militants in Iraq.
If were not going to let our troops end this thing, then bring’em home. Go all in or get out.
These politicians sit in their country clubs after an exhausting 18 holes, suckin a cocktail all the while our brave men and woman get shot at playing beat cop.
Take care of the head of the snake....now!
Here’s my solution to the whole thing. And its doable.
Park 3 carrier groups in the gulf just outside Iranian territorial waters.
Early one morning the Air wings launch and devastated Iran’s military infrastructure. Meanwhile, US Marines and Navy SEALs seize control of every one of Iran’s offshore rigs. Most of Iran’s oil is located offshore.
Man the rigs and start pumping oil (as fast as the rigs can raise it) to send to the US and any allied nation that has helped us in Iran or Iraq. For Free!
This would collapse OPEC price fixing and immediately lower the price of oil around the world.
Tell the Iranians they can have the rigs back when we are satisfied they are no longer pursuing nuclear power and weapons, and have removed the nut job and his cronies from power.
Not one American boot needs to go on the ground in Iran.
