Is that a picture of TODAY’S quake? Where from” Which freeway?

I remember in the 1971 quake how the news radio didn’t even know how big the quake was. We were without running water for a week.

I am surprised there are photos so soon.

Definitely. I remember driving down the street from where I lived and seeing the apartment building that went from a 3 story to a 2 story. Pretty scary. My sister told me later about a friend of hers who lived in the lower story of that apartment building. That morning her husband got up as usual to leave for work at about 4am and for some reason the whole family (their 3 or 4 kids) decided to all walk him out to his car and say goodbye. They were in the parking lot when the earthquake hit and the building collapsed on their apartment. I tend to believe God had a hand in that. ;)

I'm glad to hear nothing bad is coming of THIS earthquake, today.
