“ta-da” was pretty darn funny in a sick way.
One of my favorite moments was when joker in the nurse outfit sat down next to Harvey and said “Hi!”
It’s just the WAY he said it - cracked me up.
You know what really got me about Ledger's performance? From the first moment you see him, he does the tongue juts and head cocking associated with long time Haldol use. That's a drug to treat paranoid schizophrenic patients. It doesn't go away even after discontinuing the drug.
Yet, in all my research, I haven't seen where he studied Paranoid Schiz patients at all.
After being in the mental health field, that in itself was amazing.
Thank you for my newest tagline.
“That’s a drug to treat paranoid schizophrenic patients. It doesn’t go away even after discontinuing the drug.”
Interesting.
I read there was some character from a movie called “Clockwork Orange” that he got some inspiration from
As I haven’t seen that movie, I’m not sure what they’re talking about.
Where normal people react in fear - getting beaten, falling from a skyscraper - the joker only reacts with laughter.
Ya gotta love it.
I probably need to watch “A Clockwork Orange” again.
That is one hard to watch movie.
bttt
And on a side note...

Excellent article!
I saw Batman yesterday. Entertaining, but not great.
But, I did notice the parallels to Bush. Especially in the speech by Caine to Rachel when he says “ he’s not a hero, he’s something more”. Good speech. I wish Bush’s administration would have made the case as effectively for Bush as Alfred makes it for Batman.
