No matter what happens to Ole Stevens the GOP will maintain at least 45 seats in the Senate which is enough to make the next President a lame duck from day one, which is good since I think Obama is going to win.

Kerry and Gore were up big over Bush at this same time.

McCain is breathing down or beating Obama in the battleground states.
