As you see on that video, though, whenever the MSM says “ANWR”, they show those false photos of tall trees and green mountain meadows, and I think most of the public buys into that. I’ve never once seen the President or anyone in Congress dispute that lie on television, and explain and show what ANWR really is, new technology, etc. They advocate drilling, but they are all so half-hearted about it. They don’t explain themselves. “We need to drill up there” just doesn’t cut it.

Oh, I’ve seen that a lot. Frozen plains. And they mention that we’re only talking about a very small part of the ANWR. It doesn’t help. The only thing that helps is that we’re paying $4.50 per gallon, and even that is not enough because no one other than Bush and a few conservatives are in favor of drilling at ANWR even now. McCain has not said we should drill in ANWR. He’s only in favor of offshore drilling.

The GOP is focusing its attention on the area that is most likely to get results at any given time. And since we still don’t have any results, it shows how entrenched the Dems are on this issue. They aren’t going to give in at all until after the election. Then they might give in, and blame it on the GOP, while at the same time taking credit for lower oil prices.
