Is there any genuine hope that your district will dump the fired Admiral and shameless carpetbagger Joe Sestak?
Ridiculous as it may seem, the Republican congressional candidate in Delaware County's 7th District is being hung out to dry. The vaunted political machine has done just enough fundraising for Craig Williams to give the appearance that it has gone to the wall for him. In reality, it has simply collected the low-hanging fruit. Now that crunch time is approaching, when money is most needed to stay viable, don't be surprised to see the Williams campaign fade into obscurity, because it simply can't compete. Incumbent freshman Joe Sestak has $2.6 million cash on hand, while Mr. Williams has a mere $360,000. No one expects a challenger to match an incumbent's tally, but such a disparity is inexcusable. And once a freshman wins re-election, he is virtually impossible to unseat. So why punt a winnable seat? Good question.
