Emil had a radio show in SF, around the time of the Bernie Ward, Dwayne Garrett having theirs, too. And I sure wished I'd kept that email from an FR poster claiming to be a San Francisco columnist, wanting to interview me. I was pretty sure it was Emil Guillermo. I wrote to my political pals about it; they were wanting me to "take him on"; and hoped to get all the juicy details of my trouncing him. But, Emil is just not at all my cup of tea in doing interviews with. He gets hysterical too easily. He tries to do these "gotcha" tricks that are so readily transparent. And that just bores me; as a waste of my time. So, I deleted his email.
I liked Dwayne. I was very upset over his death.
