Monday ping
Here’s Howie’s Sunday column(again sorry for the delay)
Tar Tar Sauce.
MONDAY JULY 28
1st Hour
A Yorkshire terrier was found dead in a washing machine Wednesday, the day after one of its owners hosted a party at a Nantucket home. Police believe the 8-year-old dog named Sam, estimated to weigh about 15 pounds, died when it was placed in a front-end washing machine and the machine was turned on. We will speak with the Detective in charge of the case Detective Lieutenant Jerry Adams of the Nantucket police about the case. What do you think should happen to the fiend who killed Sam?

Max Robins the TV Guru and Vice-President of The Paley Center (formaly known as the Museum of Television and Radio) will be with us to answer all of those nagging questions about your favorite show on the boob tube...
4th Hour
If I can move in time to qualify to register in MA again, I will vote to end the income tax.
The hacks will disregard the vote, as they always do when it comes to tax reductions authorized by the voters, but at least it will be on the record.
Mumbles gets $382 million per year from the state and he squanders all of it. He can’t clear away the snow in the winter, but darned if he can’t move City Hall to the Aquarium and build a new Aquarium. Like Boston needs this kind of waste now.
I hope that his desk is near the penguin pit. It smells to high heaven.
Move back?
I am in Manhattan and believe it or not, I want to go back to Massachusetts.
one of the few places in this country that match Mass. liberal silliness I’m guessing.........
:) Manhattan surely is bigger and a lot more expensive than Boston.
I won’t say much more because there are good things about Manhattan and different good things about Boston.
Yeah, but he's had to hire hundreds of new city employees over the past few years. A spokesman assures us they were all necessary to provide vital city services!
Actually, I saw the story recently (past week or two) on Fox 25, and they said the Herald was reporting it, but I can't find it on either site.
I will check, maryz!
I could not find it (for free LOL), but of course I did find corroboration on city hackery.

Will he do anything on the cop/illegal shooting on the Cape?
I just met Howie last Sunday. His daughter is my daughter’s roommate at camp.
He and his wife were very nice. Great people!
I was sure they said the Herald -- don't know whether I misheard or they misspoke, but there's the story!
Thanks, maryz!
Wow, and they are still “shy” of their 2002 level! :o
How cow! Where do they think money comes from?
Oh right.
They think that it comes from a great big hole in the ground.
I would think that he’d be most likely to talk about it in the last hour, as that hour isn’t aired outside of New England, except via internet stream. But he may talk about it after Max Robbins is done.
It is Monday after all.
LOL! This is Boston -- home of the Big Dig. Money's been pouring into a great big hole in the ground . . . unless, of course, the pols are confused and think they were storing it there, like squirrels hiding nuts! :)
Tuesday ping
Howie live today for the celebratory DUCK TOUR around Boston and Live from Eastern Standard in Kenmore Square
