A complete reversal would have been preferable, but indeed, let’s get them out with time served and hope that someone Bush can be convinced to give them a pardon on his way out the door. It’s the least he can do for his disgraceful appointment of Johnny Rotten, er, Sutton, to the post of U.S. Attrorney for the District of Mexico.

Wish I could be that optimistic. Getting rid of obstruction is great news though. Time served would be awesome - but still an injustice.

it’s based on the sentencing guidelines
time served would only be applicable in a rule 2251 if they had met a minimum for the charges the court let stand already
