McLame’s covering his bases with cute statements like that. Half of his proposals call for massive spending that would dwarf Bush’s increases.

Global warming legislation, Health care legislation, amnesty legislation.

Nice try. Won’t fool me.

A lot depends on who McCain picks for a running mate.

He wants someone who will make him look like a moderate
Someone who will appeal to women voters
Someone who can steal democrat votes from Obama
He wants to be bi-partisain, and "reach across the aisle"

(And if he really DID pick the Hildabeast for a running mate we'd STILL have people here trying to convince us it would be better than voting for Obama)...

Health care legislation? McCain is futher to the right than Bush. He even voted against the 2003 Medicare prescription drug plan. Obama, however, supports univeral health care.

“Because freedom abroad is more important than freedom at home!”

Free nations abroad create democratic beach-heads that are vital to America’s national security. I take it you opposed Operation Iraqi Freedom? If so, do you also reject the principles of the Atlantic Charter? (In otherwords, are you one of the Barr-Baldwin-Paul people?)

what are you talking about? McCain has been trying to restrain spending for a long time. And where has he said he is going to push for amnesty? And greater healthcare spending rather than good reforms which would reduce costs.I think you are just blathering the most negative posibilities which are not reality because you are angry at McCain’s past mistakes. What about the military and the support that he will have for them? Do you think it will do our troopers any good to have Obama as their commander in chief? THey have given alot in this war and deserve far better. Quit complaining and vote for the far better man...not as good as we would like, but he may surprise us too.
