Simplistic, but basically correct. In this case, many are heading back to their homelands, which is a good thing. On average (if you believe Thomas Sowell or Ben Wattenberg), Latin Americans as a group do not perform nearly as well as so many other immigrant groups. Some of the indicators (illegitimacy, 2d generation welfare dependence) are appalling.

Personally I think the best way to end this plague is not to target individuals, though that is important and must be done. The best way to fight this and what I think the central aspect of any attempt to get rid of these people should be is to go after employers aggressively. Take away their access to jobs and you will fewer people enter the US and more selfdeport.
