The critics back then were proved correct - society has certainly continued to go downhill since the flapper era.
In my town there are mother-daughter outings to get waxed.
A 23 y.o. girl told me, “My boyfriend says guys don’t really like it when girls aren’t waxed.”
It is so sad to see these girls having to bring their privates up to public standards in order to be attractive enough to have a sexual relationship with, so that, maybe, he’ll fall in love her. So that maybe, some day, someone will love her enough to marry her.
I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time!
I can’t help but think, on some level, this doesn’t have something to do with the confusion that exists nowadays with children as sex objects.
It’s children who don’t have pubic hair. To remove it - well, there are all sorts of implications, and I guess for many people it’s nothing more than a preference. But I think there is more to it, in many cases.
