I’d be willing to bet though Savage knows more about the subject than most of his critics. On AHD and ADHD, Savage has been right on the money for years.

Unfortunately, ADHD and ADD are NOT autism. Savage confuses the two and then on that basis makes a conclusion with not scientific basis whatsoever. Being right in one area does not necessarily make you right in another.

They are not the same at all, but nonetheless, he was roundly slammed for exposing the AHD racket. I’m just guessing here, but I’d be willing to bet Savage said much more, that made much more sense than just this excerpt states. And this is coming from someone who does not care for Savage.

Savage has done a real disservice to the conservative movement.

ADHD and autism are entirely different diagnoses. Autism is a serious medical condition pegged to genetic differences.

My cousin has a severely autistic child. It is obviously a serious, objective medical condition, not a “contrived” condition or faux diagnosis designed to “enable” people to screw off & enjoy victim status.

Shame on Savage, what an A*S.
