She was on the very top of the dog walk, that's this thing, it's about 5 feet off the ground:
. . . and she saw hubby filming. She LEAPED from the top of the dog walk, ran to the ring fence, jumped OUT of the ring, and ran up to him, "Daddy! Daddy! Hi! HI!" Oh, well, she got a DQ on that one . . . .
But she is the biggest ham that ever was -- she LOVES a crowd and she just grins from ear to ear at applause. I took her to a horse show one time and during the lunch break I just ran her over the hunter course. Most of the folks there had never seen an agility dog work, and they were amazed and applauded. Shelley got so excited she 'orbited' (running in circles while sitting down and cranking her tail like a corkscrew - it's a Lab thing, you have to be there!)
Miss Ruby is more of a challenger -- "Here I am! Am I not lovely? Of course I am - and you'd better agree! Enthusiastically!"
Shelley and Miss Ruby are LOVELY!
Miss Ruby would have been of great interest to Ol’ BoBo...who has gone to the Big Duck Blind in the sky....
I am laughing so hard tears are running down my face. I can just see her. I am glad to hear we aren’t the only ones. The first year; all Rosey did was look for us. We have pictures of her while in the show ring with her head turned around searching.
Oh, and I recognize Ruby. That’s Rosey Toes. Here I am. Look at me. LOL
