Of course, BO would take credit for it (fashioning a virtual Jordanian Mandate in Iraq, then Syria & Lebanon). That’s how I see it unfolding. And it probably would be a good thing. Sort of indirect colonialism. The only thing I’d worry about in this, as well as in Afganistan, is BO being so naive and so very Leftist, that Russia would offer to “come down” into these places, just to help, of course.
