"We learned from the Pentagon last night that the visit would be viewed instead as a campaign event. Senator Obama did not want to have a trip to see our wounded warriors perveived as a campaign event when his visit was to show his appreciation for our troops and decided instead not to go," Maj. Gen. Scott Gration, USAF (Ret), Obama spokesman"Screw you General." Specialist Walsh, US Army, ETS'd many moons ago.

I’m an Air Force vet (1970 - 1974), and I am embarrassed for my Air Force that this rebrobate general officer, Scott Gration, once wore the blue.

But but but he wasn’t talking today as a presidential candidate - he was speaking as a citizen of the world. Can’t a citizen of the world, or at the very least, a junior f’ng senator visit our brave wounded military personnel? It could have been a great reverse-Patton moment to see an injured soldier slap the crap out of Barry, kicking Barry out and sending him to the front!
