I am sick of the whole “memorial industry” that springs up in all these sites. Seems like the only folks who benefit are the lawyers. Ugh.
Put a nondescript obelisk on the site with a plaque. And let’s get on with the busienss of being American.

How about a huge patriotic red, whaite, & blue star in that field. Make it big enough to be seen from at least 40,000 feet. At that rate, make it big enough to be seen from the International Space Station. People NEED to remember why we are in this fight. Far too many have forgotten, or intentionaly choose not to remember what happened on September 11, 2001. And that is VERY sad.
