Top Astronaut: 'Aliens Do Exist'
11:37am UK, Thursday July 24, 2008 Aliens do exist and have even contacted humans on Earth, according to top astronaut Dr Edgar Mitchell who was the sixth man on the Moon. l-alien
Dr Edgar Mitchell says aliens are just like little men
The truth has been hidden by governments for more than 60 years, the Moon walker says.
And he claims he is lifting the lid on a conspiracy to keep aliens a secret.
Dr Mitchell, who was on Apollo 14 in 1971, has told how he was aware of many UFO visits to Earth during his career with Nasa but each one was covered up.
The 77-year-old claims the space agency made contact with aliens, describing the beings as "little people who look strange to us".

I didn’t think he was just a Cretan.
LOL.
Where's the proof?
The horse was sent to the glue factory a century ago.
Speaking of pearls before swine, yours are more like.........walnuts.
Actually, I prefer pecans but like walnuts, too.
Black walnut ice cream is great, too.
I don’t really write for those who aren’t interested or who haven’t the ears to hear nor eyes to see.
And even those that do . . . well ought to prayerfully consider anything said by anyone about anything—with a large trash can nearby.
I’m intrigued by that notion. Would you be willing to elaborate, please?
I think I agree.
Though if you are saying that the Judeo/Christian construction on reality is the horse that went to the glue factory, then I wholesale disagree.
Actually, IIRC, swine love walnuts . . . which may be your point?
LOL.
Husserl wrote Crisis in European Science as his last work and didn’t actually finish it before falling ill. It built on the epoche of Cartesian Meditations. He had hoped to merge the subjective and the objective in a kind of monadism but since he didn’t finish he only pointed a way and remained in a kind of dualism. He did, however, leave us the concept of hyperlinks, which many have tried to claim or patent in the meantime.
The profession of science has continued on, in total ignorance of the problem, to erect its mathematical structures even to absurdities such as the Big Bang and photons, and psychology has followed along taking data and pretending to be a science by using some scientific method.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh.
Wellllllllll, RW,
I figure we all . . . as The Book says . . . see through a glass darkly . . .
Sometimes scientists MAY see slightly clearer this or that microdot, often, not.
The Vision of The Whole escapes us on this plain/dimension.
By design . . . in my understanding of things.
Then there’s the verse . . . God’s ways are beyond finding out, as He declares.
Yet, He hides many things and delights in us finding those things out.
Lots of mystery to play with and amongst.
I think the most disturbing thing vis a vis the hard and soft science is that
ARROGANCE seems to be rewarded
when, actually, it’s the most stupid AND the most deadly thing . . . to truth . . . and other living things.
Thanks for your kind response.
Indeed it would, LOL.
Just got the latest UFO magazine.
May try and post some excerpts later.
Anyone else have it?
Thank you!
Personally, I think there is material proof that is being withheld. Three things make me think this.
1. Human beings have a history of covering up things that people assume would be impossible to hide. Many confidently assume that if it's not reported, it didn't happen. When something happens and it's not reported, folks who didn't see it think those who did see it are lying. And the reality remains that the thing happened.
2. I know personally through many first-hand experiences that people can communicate with each other in a way that has never been proven. Therefore, I know that people who think psychic phenonena are bunk are just plain wrong. I know they're wrong the say way I would know that people who'd never seen the ocean would be wrong if they scorned me for not "knowing" that the Pacific is really a lake.
3. I trust my perceptions of human nature enough to conclude that the range of people who maintain that they've seen "impossible" aircraft is so enormous that it is illogical to think they're all A) lying or B) extremely addle-headed. That's not the way the real world works. You spout words like "idealism" and "realism" and it seems to me, are missing the applications of the latter here.
I'm not "spouting" anything. I ask for tangible proof, and so many begin talking of subjective reality, like yourself.
If you don't want your feelings hurt, then provide proof instead of what you know.
You believe that if you don't have tangible proof, it didn't happen. I KNOW that things happen for which there is no tangible proof.
That's the difference.
Because you haven't gotten over a couple of hoops, you are still stuck on "Where's the proof?" I maintain that it is illogical to dismiss such a weight of other evidence in lieu of physical evidence that can be suppressed.
How is "subjective reality" not an oxymoron?
Well, that most certainly tells me where you stand on the subject.
Our Military would be absolutely helpless against beings advanced enough to come here. Y'all need to come up with better conspiracy theories.
WELL AND ACCURATELY PUT.
However, those addicted to being shredded by a TYPE II ERROR out of their terror of a TYPE I ERROR
rarely seem to wrap their understanding well around logical facts.
