"Absentee Father"?

The way I learned it was when a guy knocks up a girl and runs, he's pretty lowdown...especially if he assumes no role - financial or otherwise - in raising the children.

The “Absentee Father” this article is referring to is McCain’s. Of course to them “Absentee” means away in the military which is stupid beyond belief and belittles every military family and military father who is away on assignment. In my opinion, they are trying to play the pity party on the war in one swoop.
