If I was going to start a national political party just about the last person I would nominate would be Keyes. Gawd man don’t you know among conservatives he is considered a joke?

Laugh all you want. I don’t care.

I know him, and he’s the smartest individual I’ve ever met. And no one has stood fast for what I believe in for decades like he has. In the face of folks who are even nastier than you’re being.

Only if your definition of "conservative" includes folks like John McCain.

Alan Keyes, or Alicia Keyes?

This isn’t an Onion article?

He must have at least 8 or 9 supporters left.

I hardly consider Keyes a ‘joke’. He has a brilliant mind. He is a powerful speaker and a true American in every sense of the word - as is Duncan Hunter, my first choice for president.
You have denigrated two fine men.

That said, I will be voting for McCain. It’s too late for grass-roots efforts and it is too close to the elections. Obama would be a disaster beyond words. Don’t ask me how it came to this point. We had a brilliant lineup of candidates.
