Fenton, MI July 23, 2008 In a statement released today by Americas Independent Party, Chairman Tom Hoefling welcomed Californias American Independent Party to the growing ranks of AIP state affiliates.
Hoefling, commenting in the wake of a statement from the office of the California Secretary of State recognizing Edward C. Noonan as the rightful chairman of the American Independent Party and the legitimacy of the actions of the July 5th State Convention in Sacramento, said, We gratefully accept the AIP State Central Committees decision to affiliate nationally with us. We share a common bond based on faith in God and a fundamental respect for Americas founding principles. We have the utmost confidence that the leaders of the American Independent Party share our vision for rebuilding politics in this country from the ground up. The California AIP is now the cornerstone of the new national AIP and the vanguard of the historic next stage of the modern conservative movement.
Americas Independent Party is a conservative pro-life political party that stands for constitutionally limited government, national sovereignty, secure borders, economic liberty, and a Reaganesque peace through strength national defense and foreign policy. Americas Independent Party endorses or nominates candidates for public office based on a proven adherence to constitutional principle, not mere party labels.
Additionally, Hoefling praised the American Independent Partys nomination of former Reagan Assistant Secretary of State Alan Keyes for President, saying, With the complete failure of leadership in the Republican Party, its time for a new beginning for principled conservatives. Alan Keyes is laying the groundwork for the long-term revival in America of government of, by, and for the people. Thats why an overwhelming majority of us support him, and are working to place him on the ballot in as many states as possible, either as a party nominee or as an Independent candidate. The American people deserve to have a true conservative choice in November, not just another liberal echo.

That’s fine. But none of that gives you a right to lie about folks, and attribute motives that don’t exist.
Point out what statments I have made that are untrue.
Well, let’s go back to the beginning. You said that I’m “hustling.” This infers someone who does this for the primary purpose of deceiving people out of their money.
Which is a malicious lie.
Your turn.
Your past actions, Keyes' past actions, and your present behavior on this thread do nothing to demonstrate that to be a lie. The fact remains that Keyes and his organization (of which you were and are a part) did not tell people in Illinois the truth about what their money would be used for while he was asking for and taking their money. I find that to be the essence of "hustling."
Your turn.
The Keyes campaign in Illinios was run by Illinois and RNC hacks, who expended the money they raised the same old way every other bunch of Republican hacks do so. That’s what Dr. Keyes was stuck with. Oh well.
Are you supporting McCain?
So that makes it acceptable for Keyes and his organization (of which you were and are a part) to lie to people as they are asking for and taking their money? Really?
Are you supporting McCain?
That's not the topic of conversation, and you are attempting to divert the discussion because you have no legitimate response to my statement.
Just answer the question.
I want to see if you hold the Republican hacks to the same standard you’re falsely applying to me.
You may like to think that people who can see through Keyes' hucksterism must by definition be McCain supporters, but the world doesn't work like that. I have the capacity to hold Keyes and McCain in contempt at the same time, thank you very much.
McCain is an old fool who long ago sold out any conservative principles he may have had, and Keyes is a shameless grifter whose attention span can be measured by the volume of money coming in to him and his staff. Both are deserving of scorn, in my opinion.
Well, at least you answered my question, I think. Good on you for not supporting the Soros-funded traitor McCain.
But you have Alan Keyes, and me, all wrong. I’m obviously not going to convince you though, so, I won’t waste any more of your time, or mine.
