The YMCA, right across the street from the King David? I spent a week at the “Y” many years ago. In terms of money and its pecking order back then, vendors preferred the dollar, then the mark and very reluctantly, the Israeli pound (I believe it was still a pound back then). When you pulled a couple of dollars out, you owned that part of the world.
