COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A Republican state senator from South Carolina is being criticized for a post on his blog that shows photos of Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden wearing similar clothing, along with a line that states the difference between the two is "a little B.S."
The image was posted on Sen. Kevin Bryant's blog on Friday without an explanation from the politician. It appears to be a photo of a T-shirt, with images of bin Laden and Obama wearing turbans and the words "OBAMA" AND "OSAMA," with the "B" and "S" each highlighted in red.
The American-Arab Anti-discrimination Committee has sent a letter to Bryant saying it is extremely disappointed that he posted the picture on his blog.
The committee is asking Bryant to publicly disassociate himself from the photo. Bryant is unapologetic.
So far, he has gotten 125 comments about the picture.
The chairwoman of the state Democratic Party called the posting a desperate attempt by Bryant to get attention for his re-election bid.
obama, osama. it’s an honest mistake.
Is there a difference?
Even our WordPerfect version at the office states on the screen whenever we type in Obama: “Did you mean Osama?”
Besides, that T-shirt jpg is all over the rightwing websites that I’m a member of.
A Post on his blog? That doesn’t mean he posted it. Someone else may of posted it for him to see or get a laugh at.
It is all over the internet, and it is funny. Look at any Leftist moonbat site and see the pics they make of Bush and McCain. Rats sure have thin skin.
And what does this have to do with “The American-Arab Anti-discrimination Committee”, Are they saying Obama is an Arab/ muslim, and it’s not fair making fun of him? Or is it Osama they are upset about being compared to Obama?
What do Obama and Osama have in common?
THEY BOTH HAVE FRIENDS THAT HAVE BOMBED THE PENTAGON.
It was only satire, right? Just like the New Yorker! Oh I forgot, only Dims are allowed to laugh without being “slammed”/s
Dan Rather said last week that Jesse Jackson paved the way for Osama Bin Laden. That gaffe didn’t make the wire services or tv-talk (it did get repeated on talk radio and a few articles).
This artwork was a satirical joke. It has bite. Certainly much more than the Chimpy McHitlerboosh bs we’ve had to endure for 8 years now.

Where’s the donation link? I’ll donate to him!
DEAD true.
the New Yorker is so last week. This week it is Vanity Fair with a shot of the McCains in the White House burning the Constitution.
Where's the outrage?
If anyone is going to burn the constitution, it's the Obama's. That is, if he is even aware we have one.
If the left is correct that President Bush and his policies are responsible for illegal wars resulting in the deaths of tens of thousands of innocent souls then shouldn’t linking McCain to Bush be more egregious than linking Obama to Osama?
If the war is illegal then all of the US combantants are also party to the crime.
So why did Obama go over to Iraq and pose for photos with known criminals engaging in criminal enterprise?
I can produce a photo of Barack Obama’s political Puppetmaster Bill Ayers standing on a US flag.
The Obama supporters would have a very difficult time to dig up an image linking McCain’s supporters to absolute rejection of the US Constitution.
For every McCain Feingold there is the Fairness Doctrine that Pelsoi-Obama are planning to bring back to censor talk radio.
For every sign of amnesty for illegal aliens from McCain there are the same comments from Obama.
Obama also has problems with private ownership of firearms for self-defense.
Obama also has problems with the clause prohibited requiring free service from all Americans.
etc. etc. etc.
Marxism is incompatible with our Constitution.
South Carolina Ping
Add me to the list. / Remove me from the list.
That’s a good point. Perhaps he should be listed as an unindicted co-conspirator at a future war crimes trial.
