added clarifiaction to the title so no one thinks this is any more "cute" as an adult woman banging a young boy.
Rape is Rape.
Double standard noted.

Standard is that he'd be considered Innocent until proved guilty in a court of law. Very skimpy on the details or even when events took place.

I'd be very careful with this one. Washington is where pagan officials tried to falsely screw over a Christian family (McMartins ??) that ran a day care.
To: AmericaUnited
The McMartin case was in southern California.

Ok so it wasn't them but I'll try to remember the one I'm thinking of.

Ok so it wasn't them but I'll try to remember the one I'm thinking of. The Power To Harm. I've met a few of these folks since, esp. Pastor Roby.

This is tragic! I just can’t figure out what is going nowadays. It seems many adults have a lack of control and morals.

This is hard to see as an attack against Christians in general. According to the parent article, the principal violated a restraining order that prohibited contact with the girl. The man is at best naive - only a fool is ever alone with a youth who is not his son or daughter. Such precautions are the only way to remain above reproach. If the allegations in the article are true, this man is what the apostles warned of - a wolf out to devour the flock and blaspheme Christ and the Gospel. The elders responsible for this institution need to run their own investigation and take the the appropriate action if church discipline is warranted (and the article suggests that it is...)
To: llevrok
Earlier this week, the girl told detectives she'd had sex with her principal while she was staying at the school.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Maybe, maybe not. What does the principal say?
Whether it is a government school, private school, or some ordinary citizen, I am always cautious about these she says, he says.
Were there e-mail messages? , text messaging?, letters?
The article does say there were no other girls molested.

Go to the link and read the entire story.

I read the entire story. The “facts” are unclear. I’ll wait before deciding.

Hope this is a false allegation. Enough is enough regardless of gender.

This is something of a surprise, as it took place in a private school, not a public one.

I hesitate to ping the list when it’s just allegations.
When it goes to trial, and he’s convicted, I won’t have any trouble pinging it.
There was a FReeper who told about a friend of his who gave a girl in his science class a grade she deserved on a test. She tried to get even with him and was caught planting a pair of her panties in his car.
That poor guy almost had his whole life ruined by a bratty little 14 year old. If she hadn’t been caught doing that, he’d be history.
Of the people I personally know who have been accused of sexual abuse, none were guilty. One was my ex-s-i-l who later admitted to me that she accused my brother just to keep him away from her and her little girl. She admitted to me that she lied. Grrr. Good for him that she’s an ex. She didn’t deserve him and he didn’t deserve to have to put up with her.

but even if they had consensual sex, it's still rape by the letter of the law. a 14 year old is legally unable to give consent.
also, there was an order of protection against this guy for this girl! how does that happen and he still has his job?!?

Sadly, that it happened in a private school doesn’t surpise me at all. At age 8, one of my classmates was molested by a school employee at our Catholic school back in the 1970’s.
