why would any investor want to buy that debt package?...does the paper own significant real estate, TV stations, radio stations ect?....anything that could be cannibalized for cash?....if it’s just a newspaper then they’re screwed.

Hopefully, more liberal controlled and owned so called financial groups will waste more of their capitol in these terminally ill fishwraps.

That way, they will have less money to doate to Obama, the DNC and other rat politicians.

There are A rated bonds and B rated bonds. Are they any English letters low enough for newspaper bonds or does Moody's have to go to Greek and Russian letters to find something low enough?

I used to deliver the Star Tribune as a kid. For nearly all of my life they have been an abominable leftist rag. Still, the left-leaning zombies in Minnesota happily bought their tripe for the witty and urbane local scene news (or so they think) and it was cheaper than the NYT they like to be seen with in coffee shops on the weekends. In reality, the fishwrap wouldn't have lasted this long if a truly viable alternative had been present for many of their news-hungry conservative readers to buy. Now that the net has given us what we wish (unrestricted information), the margin between profit and loss has finally tipped permanently into the red zone along with their notably Bolshevik editorial page.

I will be very glad to see these arrogant leftist b@st@rds sent to their financial grave. Good riddance to bad trash.
