I don't know about that. I live in PA and never cared for Ridge. Can't quite put my finger on the reason. I only voted for him because I'm a loyal Republican. My husband feels the same. We would NEVER vote for a candidate because of Ridge as VP, but because I'm loyal, I won't let that cause me NOT to vote for McCain. I would be very disappointed, however. I think Ridge would be another step to McCain losing the election. I think Rahm is playing a psychological game with voters.

With all due respect I don’t agree. I want to make it clear that I’m a Palin fan, not a Ridge fan, but I believe Ridge would put McCain over the top in PA, help keep OH Red, help immensely with the Catholic vote, help Mac in NH and be a loud proponent of the 2nd Amendment. I could go with Ridge (if he takes the pro life pledge), I’m not so sure about Romney.

I agree, twigs. And I think that the Dems and Drive-Bys (same deal) would tie Ridge with W and it would be non-stop McCain-Bush, McCain-Bush.
