Not only does Belgrade not complain, not only does Belgrade not cashier him and court martial him for treason and abandoning his loyalty to the Yugoslav Army, they permit him to bring almost his entire command - one-third of Yugoslavia's regular forces under arms - into the Army of Republika Srpska and they allow him to keep all the weaponry and materiel that Belgrade had equipped him with.
