Theres an old saying that the only thing wrong with tainted money is that there taint enough of it.
That might work for universities and other institutions that grace their halls with the names of robber barons, but its trouble for political campaigns.
The McCain camp recognized that fact of life anew this week. The Washington Post reports that the campaign was stung by its ties to Oregon venture capitalist and political donor Craig Berkman, who was sued by former investors in a fraud case and ordered to pay $28 million in civil damages.
Berkman and his wife, the Post reports, donated $50,000 to Republican candidates and party committees this election cycle. That included a $28,500 check to the Republican National Committees Victory Fund on May 29 to support McCains presidential bid.

I wonder how many articles the LA Slimes ran on Obama’s buddy, Rezko?

arch-criminal Rezko LAUNCHED Obambi’s political career, was the major donor and bundler for years, Obambi had done legal work for Rezko’s slumlord empire, arranged for Obambi’s home purchase with extra land in a corrupt deal, yet the MSM barely noticed Rezko’s felony convictions and Obambi has been allowed to skate.

Heard Lou Dobbs say today that he has never seen an election in which the MSM had given up any pretence at non-bias in their reporting.

best hope is that enough of the MSM can be shamed before Nov. and forced to re-examine their badly slanted coverage
Otherwise, it will be a long dismal dangerous 4-8 years!!

Berkman may owe people money, but unlike Rezko, he isn't in jail.

I heard a Dim talking head, on FOX & Friends, laughingly admit the same thing. It is so patently obvious that the Dims aren’t even bothering to deny it anymore.

As far as I can see this guy lost a lawsuit. If you can't take contributions from anybody who loses a lawsuit, that is going to narrow the field considerably. What is the point of the reference to criminality in the title? Was anybody criminally convicted in this matter?

If Obama is the Messiah he is co-eternal with the Father. So he was not born. Therefore, he is not a natural born citizen and is not eligible to be President.

Not only are they forbidden but racism too! /sarc
