At that track. My point is some tracks that are good for some cars & suck for others. I would like to see Indy cars at Bristol. LOL.
The attempt by Nascar to get some of the good-rub off the Indy 500 history by running a STOCK CAR race is nutty. Ditto Pocono.

Nascar made a decision, one it said would make racing more competitive, level the field, make it cheaper to operate the cars, and waa laaa, First full year, they got bit.
The CoT down forces in the turns on the right scrubbed the t’ars real quick, the comments about compound used, inner miner t’ar pressure, new abrasive surface, all add up but the car aero also has to come in to play and did,
Big Time, imo. and the sad fact is , it is more of a Tank.

It’s too bad they didn’t run a second race with classic cars from a coupe years ago and see how many cautionary cautions they have to take. I might even pay to see it. ;-)
