Livni, according to Hasson, was hired to live in a Paris apartment simply so that the property would not remain empty. Intelligence agencies customarily hire low level agents to man apartments abroad so as not to raise municipalities' suspicions in case the properties remain abandoned and unused.

Wow, that’s not exactly breathtaking achievement.... but then she’s probably more qualified for high office than Obambi, who was a “community organizer” complaining about landlords (at around the same age).

Sounds like Livni had a rather sweet deal to be paid to live in gay Paris for 4 years....... I’d be happy to take one of those apartments for a few years if the Mossad still has such needs.......

she’s probably more qualified for high office than Obambi,

I'm no fan of hers, but I agree with you.

She was low-level Mossad, evidently, she served in the military, she served in the Knesset, she's been a cabinet officer for years, longer than Obama's whole political career. She served both as Justice Minister and Foreign minister and unlike Obama speaks three languages. She has served in high office during war-time.

So while she is clearly a lightweight, she is clearly not the strongest person ever to have served in that position, she is head and shoulders more qualified for high office than Obama.

That said, she is a peace-nik and she's not what Israel needs on the eve of war. I'd trust her before I would Obama any day. But thats not saying much.
