Since he would in that case not be a natural born US citizen (his mother was not present in the US sufficiently long as an adult to pass American citizenship on to him automatically).

In another distraction meant to keep American voters away from the
real issues, Fox News channel announced today that the GOP is in
possession of a birth certificate proving beyond doubt that Barack
Obama’s real birthplace is, in fact, planet Lappa IV, located in the
Alpha Quadrant and inhabited by a splinter group of the Ferengi
species, who have developed a highly collectivist culture based on the
principles of socialist acquisition and redistribution of wealth.

According to conservative commentators, the Democrat presidential
hopeful’s home planet is governed by the Central Planning Committee
made primarily of the State Board of Expropriators and Liquidators,
who offer prayers and sacrificial offerings to a Blessed Taxperson in
hopes of entering the Divine Pork Barrel upon death, and fear an
afterlife spent in a Subsidized Housing For the Common Good they
legislated and financed with public money.

This explains Barack Obama campaign’s earlier secrecy over his birth
site, especially if we consider the outdated constitutional
requirement that presidents must be “natural-born” U.S. citizens.

Looking back, one can only wonder at the mainstream media’s unblinking
acceptance of Obama as a 100% Earthling, despite even such obvious
clues as his big earlobes, a supernatural fundraising ability, and his
campaign logo that resembles the emblem of the Ferengi Alliance.

Other early warning signs included Obama’s ties to such known Ferengis
as Rezko and Khalidi, his clearly alien speech patterns and
intonation, as well as his extraterrestrial campaign slogans
referencing some mysterious “hope and change” and “yes we can,” which
is the official motto of the State Board of Expropriators and
Liquidators in Obama’s homeworld. But perhaps the biggest giveaway was
a glaring lack of understanding of human customs and values by both
Barack Obama and his Klingon wife Michelle.

Obama will be fading into the sunset now that it is proved he is not constitutionally qualified to be sworn in as president. The Dem convention will choose Hillary. In fact, she might be a more formidable opponent for McCain than Obama.

Little Green Footballs reviewed the data in late June and decided there was nothing to this story. However, I don’t think Charles looked at the info himself. Rather, he referenced another blogger who panned the data.

It looks like Hawaiian officials are stone walling the release of Obama's birth certificate.

Here’s another blogger giving a thumbs down with pics to obama’s birth certificate. The guy says he is a board certified forensic computer investigator. He says his background includes a lot of investigations into forgeries. His work on obama's birth certificate shows a lot detail.

In her remarks on MSNBC Michelle Obama says of Barak. "His own mother, she said at the beginning of her remarks, was "very young and very single when she had him." "

Its reasonable to conclude that the Obama campaign would be hesitant to release his birth certificate because it would show that he was born illegitamate. Since there is a significant percent of the US population that is illegitimate -- you would think that barak would be comfortable releasing his birth certificate. but maybe not.

Jesse Jackson's remarks about wanting to cut off baraks nuts came because of baraks speech that exhorted fathers to take part in their children's lives--especially black fathers.

That speech may have come because of speculation on the internet about baraks birth certificate--which would show that his mom was single when she gave birth.

As well Michelle's remarks that barak's mother was "very single" when barak was born likely means that barak obama was born "barry dunham". Likely too his father's name wasn't on the birth certificate.

Of course then you have to say "so what". Lots of people today are born illegitamate in the USA. Bill Clinton's dad wasn't around very much. But then you'd have to ask --why then would the obama team go to such trouble to fudge the issue.

You might say that Barak is either skating on thin ice or that he's thin skinned. Either way he is definitely granular about the projection of an image. Here is an LA Times article about Obama's having removed two moslem women from sharing the stage with him.

I checked over at littlegreenfootballs and found that they're not buying the forgery angle. (However, he is saying that obama's website houses some wierd opinions.)

Here is how the McCain campaign handled questions about his birth certificate. Its pretty perfunctory. They issued a hard copy of his birth certificate.

That is the first I have seen of that.

It has been all over FR from weeks. She had to reside here 5 years after her 16th birthday and she had him when she was 18. This pertains if only one parent is a US citizen. Therefore if he was not born in Hawaii but in some other country he is not only NOT a natural born citizen, he is not a citizen at all.

Or it means that the same claims keep getting reposted over and over again and are getting a little old.

There is no question that the Obama campaign could end this speculation pretty quickly by releasing a hard copy of his birth certificate (which he claimed to have found in his ghost written "autobiography") or by signing a release authorizing Hawaii to release a certificate of live birth directly to the press.

The fact that he is not doing so could mean one of two things (probably a combination of both):

1. There is something in his birth record that he does not want released to the public. This could be something as simple as the fact that his parents were not married, that someone other than Obama Sr. was ID'ed by mom as the sperm donor, that his birth religion was stated as Muslim, or his birth name was Barry. Jumping to the conclusion that this must mean he was born outside of the U.S. is just too much of a stretch.

2. This is a useful distraction from other more damaging issues, such as his utter lack of experience, his far left wing record, his prior drug use, etc., etc.

Shortly before the election, when some real, verifiable scandal starts to hit the MSM, I expect that his campaign will release a hard copy of his certificate of live birth (not his birth certificate, which has more information) along with a press release to the effect of, "this is just another baseless right wing conspiracy claim made in an attempt to divert the public from real issues such as how wonderful Messiah Obama is."
