If there is one thing that frightens me about the way things are going, it’s the way people are being “shut up” for imagined and unimagined slights and comments.
I believe in freedom of speech. I believe in the freedom to sound and look like an idiot, as long as you are not threatening anyone.
Go Savage. Say what you want. Let your audience decide.
Throw it all against the wall.

Go Savage. Say what you want. Let your audience decide. That's what happening here, isn't it? His audience is deciding that he's an ignoramus on this issue.

I tend to agree. Let the audience decide.
I say that as someone who quit listening a long time ago. He’s just too negative and left me wanting to slit my wrists.

I agree with you. Even though the part about
Straighten up. Act like a man. Dont sit there crying and screaming, idiot. is a truly stupid thing to say to a three-year old, Savage has a right to say it, and if his broadcasters make money from him saying it, more power to them.
Me, I'll continue to ignore him, and parent my own way.

"I believe in the freedom to sound and look like an idiot, as long as you are not threatening anyone."It has gotten to the point of where we have a conditional freedom of speech. We have the freedom of speech, as long as NO ONE is made uncomfortable or offended by what is said...

Good point. Actually I disagree with a number of things he says, but he sure has the right to say them.
