Yes, I noticed that as soon as I posted a response to Publius6961 and made my apologies. If a civilian “accidentally kills someone it’s manslaughter. Why should it be different for the police? Please see my earlier responses. If a civilian accidentally kills someone they are not always charged with manslaughter by the District Attorney with jurisdiction. It depends on the mitigating circumstances.
