Congressmen like this give the Republican brand a bad name.
In what way? There’s no financial benefit for the extension, and it was five years after he bought roadway bonds that likely are a ten year fixed rate of return bond. The only way he’d risk losing money is if everyone suddenly boycotted the toll road, which isn’t going to happen, as many in the OC love them, as it’s their local status symbol... Driving on that road that the little people can’t.
