There are about 400,000 black Mormons in the world today; about 250,000 in Africa, and the rest scattered throughout North America, Brazil, and the Caribean.

How may are inactive or dead and still carried on the rolls?

There have been black Mormons since 1832, two years after the “Mormon Church” was founded.

And except for one or two, those black mormons before 1978 were considered "unworthy" for full membership that included receiving the mormon priesthood....Who was it that was trying to accuse ME of spin, seven?

Yeah, the “authentic” christians have treated the blacks so well.

My favorite quote from a born-again christian politician on christian charity for blacks has to go to George Wallace. His infamous quote when sworn in as governor of Alabama:

In the name of the greatest people that have ever trod this earth, I draw the line in the dust and toss the gauntlet before the feet of tyranny, and I say segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.

What a great example of christian treatment for his black brother.
