McCain got the nomination, somehow. I’m saying he’s not about to blow his own brains out at this point by choosing a guy who was elected governor by the same people who routinely re-elect Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Barney Frank, Bill Delahunt, Ed Markey, etc., and haven’t elected a single Republican to Washington DC in 12 years.

Only if he truly desires to lose. The way he's behaved on the campaign trail, it certainly looks like he does.
I think he's a loose cannon and is entirely unpredictable.
