The problem with the cartoon is it's turned out to be a "Yankee Doodle." By that I mean the British, when fighting the American Revolutionary patriots, created the song as a way to lampoon the Patriot cause. Unfortunately for the Brits, it was such a great song, accurately expressing th American spirit, that the Patriots joyously adopted it as their own anthem.

Now, in 2008, we loyal Americans, realizing the absolute, clinical accuracy of this truly brilliant cartoon (no satire intended) are rightly adopting it as our own. The lib establishment, seeing this, especially the cartoon's fundamental accuracy, is utterly and understandably horrified by the cartoon.
