Yeah, plus Obama has tried to build his 'tough guy' cred on fighting in Afghanistan. He even talked about invading Pakistan to go after al Qaeda. It would be hard for him to back off from that and with Obama as cover, it makes it harder for the Lefties to attack the war. Great timing too, we're freeing up a bunch of battle-hardened troops in Iraq, who are aching to go somewhere to kill more Jihadis.
All-around, it looks like a win-win situation.
I agree with political overview, we have opportunity here.
But I don't trust Obama on fighting terrorists so I still hope McCain wins.
