That's the big problem: a very wrong assumption that God can do anything. He couldn't stop Eve, and later Adam from disobeying Him. He couldn't stop the path of Crucifixion of Jesus even though he earnestly asked for alternatives. Regardless how much He loves a person, if the person chose to kill himself, He couldn't stop it.
