Conflicting reports on this topic.

Cities are expensive to live in and there's congestion, crime and crud. The 3 c's against them.

Wow. What kind of people would choose to move back into a filthy, smoggy, crime-ridden, urine-smelling parasite nest with trash blowing down the streets and smashed car windows littering the curbs?

looks like Chicago and NYC are still managing to scare away white people with their socialist policies. Maybe Atlanta, Detroit and SF could learn from the socialist mayors of those glimmering cities on the hill(formerly known as a waste heap).

How interesting that losing whites was fine, but losing non-whites requires the formation of a “task force.”

But those cities (parts of them) become less filthy and crime-ridden when more white people move in. Of course, what they also found is that they gave Section 8 to low income people and dispersed them from the large project buildings, even outside cities. Therefore, crime spread into suburban areas, even as it dropped off in the city proper.

It seems to me that offically trying to retain any level of any race in the population is as much RACISM as attempting to deny residency to anyone on the basis of race.

I noticed that too.
Hyphenated Americanism is a canker sore on our society.
I agree. But the left needs identity politics to play their entitlement game for votes and power. They win by dividing.

I've never lived in a big city and I never will. They have nothing to offer me that is worthwhile. I live on the outskirts of a small city (pop about 6500), which is as big as I want to be near. It's quiet and peaceful. I can let the dog do her thing out the back door (she goes into the woods so there's nothing to clean up), we know who our neighbors are and it's trouble free. Apartment living isn't for me nor is living in a coop or condo or a house sharing common side walls or even a house on a postage stamp sized lot. Give me a big house on a big lot any day of the year.
