Because of his past drug use, wouldn’t obama have needed a waiver to get into the military?
Maybe a waiver will be needed to be commander-in-chief.

He’s picked the wrong place. Instead of doing this at the Brandenburg Gate, he needs to go to the stadium at Nuremburg. Night would be nice, and his supporters could light the place up with torches and searchlights. There’s a great spot behind the podium to hoist a gigantic version of his new, improved Presidential Seal. They’ll still need to come up with some sort of Obama salute.

OK, Despite the fawning coverage, the thing will backfire, as Flyover country percieves him as using the warzones as a photo op, and the worshipful attitude of the media will reinforce that perception, the more the media are nice, the more people’s hackles will rise.
Europe, well, they won’t be voting here and adoring throngs in Paris aren’t going to endear him to Americans, despite the bicoastal adulation showered upon the Europas.
Wishful thinking. Perhaps. Skating on thin ice, IMO.
