Leggy lasses in short skirts are proving to be a biggest threat to road safety of male drivers.
A new research has shown that car crashes shoot up in summers as most male drivers get distracted eyeing babes in sexy summer outfits.
According to the survey by website uSwitch.com, over a quarter admit being distracted after spotting a hot woman walk past or in another car
The sexy summer outfits have even made 7pct of male drivers have a crash or a near miss. The study shows accidents shoot up by 50pct on the hottest days of the year.
Some also admitted being distracted by insects with 29m admitting being put off if one gets in the car.
Four out of 10 have also admitted getting distracted by children playing up as they hit the road. But drivers also put themselves off.
A third admit fiddling with the radio rather than watching the road and 14% lose concentration adjusting the air conditioning.
Skimpy summer clothes can also cause a problem inside the car as drivers put their foot down. Almost half admit to driving in flip flops or sandals, while 15% wear wedges and one in 10 even go barefoot.
"Drivers are alert to the obvious dangers of driving on a wet or foggy day, but actually, accidents rise by 50% on the hottest days of the year," Daily star quoted Insurance expert Ashton Berkhauer, as saying.
"When the sun comes out it's easy to forget your troubles and adopt a carefree attitude. However, this should not be the case when behind the wheel. Drivers need to make sure they stay focused.
"They should make sure they are fully alert and try not to let their mind wander. Inappropriate footwear could prove fatal, but millions of drivers do not give it a second thought," Berkhauer added. (ANI)

I must confess. In high school. I still remember her name. With my eyes on her walking up the sidewalk, I drove through an intersection and into the back of the car in front of me. Low speed. Nobody hurt except my Dad's car. One of my buddies who was in the car still reminds me of it at reunions.

I must admit that I was distracted by a leggy girl in a short skirt and got into an accident because I was ogling her while I was driving.
When I was 17!Since I got some common sense I have concentrated on driving the car, not ogling some passing *ahem* floozily dressed woman.

That would cause me to have an accident. I’d probably swerve across three lanes of traffic to avoid her (or try to hit her, one or the other).
