I don't know anything about the Spanish people, but this seems like what they want. They voted a government in that they knew would do this.... why would they now vote this government out?
The Spanish people voted in the current government, not by much, in a backlash against the Madrid bombings. It was an emotional and irrational election mindset.
People do change their minds. It’s why we have had Pelosi as House Speaker for the past couple of years. Events can change voter thinking.
