No problem let the sheet heads go to their own medical schools and let them treat their mooselum brothers...oh wait a minute...the mooselums don’t have any medical schools do they...so now they think we should change our’s to accomodate their dumb @sses! Screw them if they don’t like it!

This sort of thing is going to end up making me have to engage in “profiling” when choosing a doctor, isn’t it?

Gee--maybe medical students should be excused from studying anatomy and physiology on the gounds that they think it's icky.
This entire issue should have been ended at its inception with the words: "Take the curriculum or hit the road."
As it is, it is an indictment of the stupid American legal system. It is also a demonstration of the extent of decadence that has afflicted Western society and its most basic and essential institutions.

Many of the participating students seem unsympathetic to her claims for preferred treatment even beyond what many other female Muslim students have agreed to... This is exactly the divide-and-conquer approach that Glenn Beck talks about in his book An Inconvenient Book. This woman knew the standards of behavior when she entered into the program. If she doesn't like what she must do, perhaps she should seek another profession. If this school or court even thinks of caving in to this demand, is just another blow to common sense by political correctness. Good Lord, people, wake up before you've let everything erode away.

I guess the judges have to keep those lawsuits coming to ensure they have a job in the future. Why can’t we keep our court system under control?

Any doctor who refuses to treat all patients equally, refuses to wash adequately or refuses to use antiseptic practices is not really a doctor at all, IMHO.
There should be a clear policy up front that if you want to learn and practice medicine here, you leave your religious peculiarities at the door.
Not that one should have to go against the core ethics and laws of their faith, but maybe that faith is incompatible with modern medicine.

This may be a tempest in a tea pot. We ARE talking about osteopaths, not MD’s.

This would be like denying the pilot training to some foreign born students just because they didn’t cair to learn to land a big plane...
And she wouldn’t just “throw away” a medical degree. It’s not like she’s a jihadist living in England anyway...

I can see if you choose an area of women's health as your residency, but for your 3rd and 4th year you are going to be required to treat both men and women. If it an issue for the student not to be touched, the same argument could be made that they would not feel comfortable touching a man, which as a student of medicine is not feasible. Send her to a Jewish hospital to attend to the women. She'd still probably be griping about having to touch one of "them".
And don't have her handling none of that pig-monkey blood. < /s >

spokesman of the UK Islamic Medical Association, Dr. Abdul Majid Katme, who said, No practicing Muslim woman doctor, medical student, nurse or patient should be forced to bare her arms below the elbow. IT is called a hospital. A place where patients regularly wander the halls in an open backed underwearless paper gown.
Bits of human reproductive anatomy are often on display. If one is too prudish to accept the facts of human anatomy then one is too sensitive to serve on medical staff treating patients.
To prohibit other DOCTORS and NURSES from seeing your ELBOW???
No washing, no certificate, no job. Islam is institutionalized Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.

spokesman of the UK Islamic Medical Association, Dr. Abdul Majid Katme... Dr. Katme is a psychiatrist. Does he have to wash up much for that job?

And why is that, Dr Katme? Perhaps because showing an elbow is justification for rape?

We ARE talking about osteopaths, not MDs. Can't speak for other countries but in the US osteopaths are considered to be about on par with traditional physicians. You'll find them in most hospitals doing most (if not all) of the same things MDs are doing.

There was a documentary of UK television not long ago that was an undercover expose of mosques and muslims in the UK.At one point they featured a speaker saying something like "we cannot confront the infidels openly in this country but there are more subtle ways....like,if a dentist is a muslim he can..." (and at this point the scumbag smiles and makes a thrusting motion).
Nauseating and filthy doesn't even begin to describe it.
