There might be more interesting vocabulary choices on Mark’s thread, but you’re right, it’s fun. ;)
Mark wrote about his friend Tony on NRO.
I think that is good for the family.
On one level I still can’t believe it either, GC. I saw a mention of it on FoxNews I think it was yesterday, and I found it hard to process the words “Tony Snow” and “funeral” put together.
Ed, are you going to be able to get to the funeral?
Tony’s mother died of this very same cancer when he was 17. I don’t know if insurance companies ask you for family history or not.
Sometimes Mark needs his own Cussin’ Jar.
Amen.

Hmmm, perhaps we should make it a tradition. The annual FReeper 'Cussing Jar" Award.
It’s a different show than Tony’s.
I used to listen and FReep and all of a sudden I would hear Mom chuckling over something Mark had said over the air. LOL I didn’t realize that she was in the room.
Such a sad day. Prayers for all.
Here’s that sorrowful reality of a day .. the official good-bye for those left to miss their loved one and recognize the time we were blessed to have him with us on earth.
May angels surround and comfort Tony’s precious family and loved ones today and every day .. until they meet again.
Mike Emanuel, who was very close to Tony, said there will be no cameras inside,
that FNC brought over a couple of busloads of colleagues to the funeral,
that Pres. Bush will be among those speaking, incl. Tony’s brother,
and that there will be some updates during the proceedings.
God bless you thru eternity, Tony, and thank you for showing us your beautiful way of living to try to emulate.
Sorry I couldn’t come... Older friend of mine at the nursing home passed away, the family’s abroad. I have to wait for them to get here. It’s a good thing we did the arrangements last year. God knows best.
Dry humor always cracks me up and Mark is a riot.
Thanks for the ping, saveliberty!
((((snowflakes))))
I am glad we can all be together today and lean on each other. Today is going to be difficult. I know for me...the initial shock is starting to wear off and it is just now starting to be more real that Tony is gone. I miss him terribly, and the thought that we will never again feel the excitement of the Friday Tony Snow Factor.
Hopefully we can start some sort of monthly snowflake reunion thread?
Angels do walk the earth, STAR. One was named Tony Snow.
A.V., can you re-post your #395 on the original thread here? It would be so appropriate here.
I’m hoping the FNC cameras will be set up outside the Basilica but there’s nothing there yet.
Absolutely ... and God blessed us with a perfect role model of Christian love.
leilani, what an absolutely beautiful idea! A way for all the Snowflakes to come together. Actually it would be for any of us too, when we need a Snow hug! It would probably set a record as the longest FR thread ever!
